Ash: '1977' 30th Anniversary Tour

Northern Irish power pop trio Ash return to Australia to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their landmark 1996 debut album '1977'. Performing the album in full, Ash will revisit the cinematic punk-pop soundtrack that struck a chord with a generation. The iconic album fused power pop, glam rock, post-grunge and Britpop into a loud, melodic and exuberant sound, spawning a run of UK Top 20 singles including Girl From Mars, Kung Fu, Angel Interceptor, Goldfinger and Oh Yeah. Written, recorded and released when the band members were just 19, '1977' has sold more than 2 million copies worldwide and was named by NME as one of the 500 greatest albums of all time.
