Boy & Bear

Boy & Bear is an Australian indie folk band formed in 2009, comprising David Hosking, Killian Gavin, Tim Hart, Jonathan Hart, and David Symes. The band achieved critical and commercial success with their debut album Moonfire (2011), which debuted at number 2 on the ARIA Charts and won five ARIA Awards. Subsequent albums Harlequin Dream (2013) and Limit of Love (2015) both debuted at number 1 on the ARIA Charts, with Harlequin Dream achieving platinum certification. Their fourth studio album Suck on Light was released in 2019, followed by their self-titled fifth album in 2023. Their most recent album Tripping Over Time was released in December 2025 and debuted at number 1 on the Australian Album Charts. Known for their captivating live performances, Boy & Bear have performed headline shows at major Australian venues including the Sydney Opera House Forecourt and Brisbane's Riverstage, establishing themselves as one of Australia's most accomplished live acts and musical exports.
