Utah Saints

Utah Saints is an English electronic music duo from Leeds consisting of members Jez Willis and Tim Garbutt. The band achieved significant chart success in the 1990s with three top-ten and five top-40 singles on the UK Singles Chart, along with number-one dance tracks in the UK and US. They are notable pioneers of sampling technology, known for manipulating samples from mainstream pop, rock, R&B and soul songs and combining them with contrasting dance beats to create new musical contexts. The band wrote, produced and mixed all of their own music. From 1991 to 2001, they performed live with additional musicians as one of the first electronic groups to play as a live collective, supporting acts including the Shamen and U2 at stadium shows. Since then, the duo have performed live sets themselves.
