New York rapper billy woods brings his inventive, literate style to The Triffid. Known for his work in abstract hip hop and as a founding member of the collaborative project Armand Hammer, woods has built a reputation for intellectually challenging music since gaining wider recognition with his 2012 album History Will Absolve Me. His latest solo album GOLLIWOG (2025) is his most experimental work to date, blending horror, humour, surrealism and Afropessimism into a 'horrorcore masterpiece' that showcases his distinctive approach to flow and craft.
