Des Bishop

Des Bishop is an American-Irish stand-up comedian with a career spanning more than 20 years. Born in London, raised in New York, and based in Ireland, he is known for his distinctive presentation style combining openness and honesty with perceptive comic observations. His work includes six hit stand-up specials: Made in China (2015), One Day You'll Understand (2018), and Of All People, among others. Beyond stand-up, Des Bishop has expanded into podcasting, co-hosting Berner Phone with his wife Hannah Berner and the Bishop Exchange comedy podcast with comedian John Bishop.
