Hair is one of the most famous musicals of all time, celebrating the sixties counterculture through iconic songs including 'Aquarius,' 'Good Morning, Starshine,' 'Hair,' 'I Got Life' and 'Let The Sunshine In.' The production explores themes of identity, community, global responsibility and peace, examining what it means to be a young person in a changing world. The musical features a running time of approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes including interval. It is recommended for ages 16 and over, with all patrons under 16 years of age requiring accompaniment by a parent or guardian. The production contains nudity and sexual content, strong language, references to drug use, anti-war and political themes, depictions of violence and death, as well as racial and discriminatory language presented in historical context. The performance also features flashing lights, haze, loud sound effects, and gunshot noises.
