About

The Great Gatsby: A Jazz Ballet Odyssey is a theatrical dance production that reimagines F. Scott Fitzgerald's 1925 novel through a genre-defying fusion of ballet, tap, and jazz. Directed and choreographed by Joel Burke with narration arranged by James Millar, the production features world-class dancers performing to a score blending Gershwin masterpieces including Rhapsody in Blue and The Charleston alongside original compositions by Toby Alexander and Carrick Sugden. The production delivers approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes of performance including a 20-minute interval, combining breathtaking choreography with bedazzled costumes and elaborate theatrical sets to capture the glitz and glamour of the Jazz Age story.
