New York rapper billy woods brings his distinctive blend of literate, inventive hip-hop to Manning Bar. Known for abstract lyricism and experimental production, woods has built a cult following since his breakthrough 2012 album History Will Absolve Me, collaborating with ELUCID in the group Armand Hammer and releasing acclaimed solo albums including Today, I Wrote Nothing, Maps, and GOLLIWOG. His 2025 album GOLLIWOG showcases his most experimental work to date, a densely layered project mixing horrorcore, surrealism, and Afropessimism into a singular artistic vision.
