About
Hawthorn Football Club is an Australian rules football team founded in 1902 and based in Melbourne's eastern suburbs. As a member of the Australian Football League (AFL), the club is the youngest of the Victorian-based AFL teams. Hawthorn has achieved significant competitive success, winning 13 senior VFL/AFL premierships and being the only club to win premierships in each decade from the 1960s through the 2010s. The club's office and training facilities are located at Waverley Park, with occasional home games played at Marvel Stadium.
