Melbourne

The Melbourne Football Club, known as the Demons, is the oldest professional club of any football code in the world. Founded as a member of the VFL in 1896, they now compete in the AFL and have won 13 Premierships across both competitions. Their women's side, competing in AFLW since its foundation in 2017, claimed their first Premiership in 2022. The club is based at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, with offices and training facilities located at Olympic Park and Gosch's Paddock in Melbourne's sporting precinct.
