Lydia Lunch: Performs the Songs of Suicide and Alan Vega

Lydia Lunch, the pioneering no wave and post-punk artist, returns to Australia to perform the songs of synth-punk duo Suicide and the late Alan Vega, commemorating the 10th anniversary of Vega's passing in 2026. Joined on stage by Andrew Coates of Melbourne electro trio Black Cab and special guests, Lunch will revisit the catalogue of the band she met as a teenager in 1970s New York and performed with throughout her career, including the landmark track 'Frankie Teardrop'. This is not merely a tribute but an offering to the grimy, confrontational spirit that defined Lunch, Vega and Martin Rev's groundbreaking underground work.
