Cradle of Filth

Cradle of Filth are an English extreme metal band formed in Suffolk in 1991. Led by founding member and vocalist Dani Filth, the band evolved from black metal to a distinctive amalgam of gothic metal, symphonic metal, and other metal genres. Their musical identity is characterized by orchestral grandeur, blackened gothic elements, and venomous lyricism heavily influenced by Gothic literature, poetry, mythology and horror films. The band is renowned as one of the most influential and enduring names in extreme metal and maintains a reputation as one of metal's most entertaining live acts. Their current lineup includes drummer Martin Škaroupka, bassist Daniel Firth, and guitarists Donny Burbage and Joff Bailey.
