Escape the Fate

Escape the Fate is an American rock band from Las Vegas formed in 2004. Originally from Pahrump, Nevada, the group has built a two-decade career as one of the most recognizable names in modern hard rock and post-hardcore. The band currently consists of drummer Robert Ortiz (the only founding member remaining), lead vocalist Craig Mabbitt, and guitarists Matti Hoffman and Erik Jensen. Known for their stadium-wrecking hooks, ferocious riffs, and heavy sound, Escape the Fate achieved a breakthrough with their 2008 album This War Is Ours and have continued to release material including their 2025 album Redefined. The band is recognized as one of the greatest live acts of their era, with a particularly loyal fanbase, especially in Australia. Their music blends crushing heaviness with soaring choruses and anthemic rock moments.
