Holding Absence

Holding Absence is a Welsh post-hardcore rock band from Cardiff, formed in 2015. The current lineup consists of lead vocalist Lucas Woodland, guitarist Scott Carey, and bassist Benjamin Elliott. Known for their melodic hardcore sound blending alternative rock and emo influences, the band has built a devoted global following over the past decade, amassing hundreds of millions of streams worldwide. They have established themselves as leaders within modern post-hardcore, with a discography including their 2019 self-titled debut, 2021's The Greatest Mistake Of My Life, and 2023's The Noble Art Of Self-Destruction.
