Holding Absence: Australian Tour 2026

Welsh post-hardcore band Holding Absence bring their first-ever Australian headline tour to 170 Russell, supported by California metalcore outfit Kingdom of Giants. Over the past decade, the Cardiff trio have built a devoted global following and established themselves as leaders within modern post-hardcore, amassing hundreds of millions of streams and touring extensively across the UK, Europe, North America and Australia. This tour marks a significant milestone as Holding Absence step into headline positions across several Australian cities for the first time, having previously supported tours with Thornhill, Void Of Vision and You Me At Six. Their most recent album, The Noble Art Of Self-Destruction, completed a defining trilogy following their 2019 self-titled debut and 2021's The Greatest Mistake Of My Life, and they continue evolving their sound with recent material including the single 'Whisper Of A Dream'. Kingdom of Giants return to Australian stages following their 2023 run with Bury Tomorrow, bringing their expansive, cinematic take on heavy music.
