Montaigne

Montaigne is an Australian art pop musician and singer known for theatrical performances and powerful vocals. Their debut album Glorious Heights, released in 2016, reached No. 4 on the ARIA Albums Chart and won the ARIA Breakthrough Artist Award. They represented Australia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 with the song Technicolour and have collaborated with notable artists including Hilltop Hoods, Tom Cardy, and Austin Wintory. With over 64 million streams on their collaboration Red Flags with Tom Cardy and a Grammy nomination for work with composer Austin Wintory, Montaigne is recognized for authentic audience connection, incorporating theatrical movement and creating inclusive performance spaces. They released their first independent and self-produced album it's hard to be a fish in 2025.
