Negative Approach

Negative Approach is an American hardcore punk band formed in Detroit, Michigan in 1981. Considered among the pioneers of hardcore punk, particularly in the Midwest region, the band initially broke up in 1984 before reforming in 2006. Despite being little known outside their hometown during their early years, they are now idolized in the Detroit rock underground and punk subculture, recognized as one of the elite bands of the old school era. The band continues to tour and remains influential in punk music.
