Prince Daddy & the Hyena

Prince Daddy & the Hyena is an American punk rock band from Albany, New York, formed in 2014. The band has built a career blending punk energy with refined melodic and indie rock sensibilities, drawing from emo, garage rock, and pop punk influences. They have released four full-length albums and four extended plays. Their work is characterized by a mix of rough punk elements and increasingly focused songwriting, channeling chaos into accessible, addictive songs. The band reunited with producer Joe Reinhardt for their fourth album Hotwire Trip Switch, released in April 2026 via Counter Intuitive Records, marking their return to the label known for beloved alternative music releases.
