The Amity Affliction

The Amity Affliction is an Australian post-hardcore band originally from Gympie, Queensland, formed in 2003. The band consists of vocalist Joel Birch, guitarist Dan Brown, bassist Jonathan Reeves, and drummer Joe Longobardi. Known for their emotionally intense and introspective songwriting, they address themes including depression, anxiety, death, substance abuse, and suicide, drawing from Birch's personal experiences. The band has released eight studio albums with a ninth in development.
