The Temper Trap are an Australian indie rock band formed in 2005 by Dougy Mandagi, Jonathon Aherne, and Toby Dundas. The group relocated from Melbourne to London in 2008. Their debut album Conditions, released in June 2009, achieved commercial success and critical acclaim, peaking at No. 9 on the ARIA Albums Chart and the top 30 on the UK Albums Chart. The lead single "Sweet Disposition" became a global hit, reaching the top 10 in Belgium, Ireland, and the UK Singles Charts, and earning the band Best Group and Most Popular Australian Single at the 2010 ARIA Music Awards. Their self-titled second album, released in 2012, won Best Rock Album at the ARIA Awards. The band is known for their soaring, cinematic sound and has accumulated over a billion streams across their career. They continue to perform both classic fan favourites and new material, including songs from their album Sungazer.
