Detroit post-punk band Protomartyr return to Australia after an eight-year absence with their characteristic anthemic atmospheric darkness. The Midwest outfit has built a six-album catalogue of essential post-punk shaped by the gritty Detroit sound and the city's guitar band lineage. Naarm buzz trio Npcede, Adelaide noise rockers Twine, and Brisbane's Craning provide support.
