Swervedriver

Swervedriver perform a special concert featuring their classic 1991 debut album Raise played in its entirety, followed by an extended set of band classics. The English alternative rock band formed in Oxford in 1989 and went on to define the sound of early 1990s underground alternative rock after signing to Creation Records. Driven by shimmering guitar textures and inventive arrangements rooted in shoegaze and influenced by My Bloody Valentine, Dinosaur Jr, and Husker Du, Swervedriver crafted a distinctive guitar-heavy British sound that blended power pop hooks and grunge-inspired heaviness. Raise, their debut full-length, became a defining album of the era and remains a landmark of the period.
