Mortiis + Nytt Land + TiR: Southern Ritual

A rare dual-headline concert bringing together two distinct visions of dark, atmospheric music. Mortiis, the Norwegian dark ambient and dungeon synth pioneer, performs in Australia with his full band for the first time, presenting material from The Smell Of Rain and other volumes of his three-decade career blending black metal influences with electronic soundscapes. Co-headlining is Nytt Land, a Siberian Nordic folk ensemble featuring traditional throat singing and handmade instruments like the Kantele and Talharpa, drawing on Norse mythology and historic texts to create dark, mystical music described as keeping history alive. Special guest TiR from Turkey completes the Southern Ritual tour bill.
