Citizen

Citizen is an American rock band from Southeast Michigan and Northwest Ohio that formed in 2009. The band consists of Mat Kerekes on vocals, brothers Nick and Eric Hamm on bass, Mason Mercer, and Ben Russin on drums. Signed to Run for Cover Records, they have released five studio albums: Youth (2013), Everybody Is Going to Heaven (2015), As You Please (2017), Life in Your Glass World (2021), and Calling the Dogs (2023). Considered part of emo's fourth wave, the band blends alternative rock, emo, grunge, indie rock, post-hardcore, and pop rock influences. They are known for creating music that allows their fans to grow up with the band across their evolving discography.
