Mahalia Barnes

Mahalia Violet Barnes is an Australian singer-songwriter and the daughter of Scottish-Australian rock singer Jimmy Barnes. She began her performing career as part of the children's pop group The Tin Lids alongside her siblings before forming her own band, Mahalia Barnes and the Soul Mates, with whom she has recorded four albums as of 2024. Known for her powerful vocals, she has collaborated with notable artists including Joe Bonamassa in both studio and live settings, and has worked as a backing vocalist for various musical projects. Her performances span swing, soul, and rock genres.
