Go West is an English pop duo formed in 1982 by lead vocalist Peter Cox and rhythm guitarist and backing vocalist Richard Drummie. The band achieved significant commercial success between the mid-1980s and early 1990s, earning the Brit Award for British Breakthrough Act at the 1986 Brit Awards. Known for blending pop, new wave, and sophisti-pop styles, Go West produced multiple international top 10 hits including 'We Close Our Eyes', 'Call Me', 'Faithful', and 'King of Wishful Thinking', with the latter featured in the film Pretty Woman. The duo continues to perform, including anniversary tours with special guests.
