Mildlife

Mildlife is a Melbourne-based Australian psychedelic jazz fusion group formed in 2010. The band blends cosmic funk, jazz fusion, psychedelic rock, and prog rock with deep dancefloor grooves and krautrock influences. Known for hypnotic live performances that balance loose-limbed improvisation with locked-in rhythm and sprawling psychedelic energy, Mildlife has released three studio albums and performed extensively across the globe. The current lineup features Tomas Shanahan on bass guitar, Kevin McDowell on electric piano and synthesizer, Jim Rindfleish on drums and engineering, and Adam Halliwell on guitar, flute, and vocoder.
