Guy Sebastian

Guy Sebastian is an Australian singer, songwriter, and record producer who rose to fame after winning the first season of Australian Idol in 2003. Born in Malaysia and raised in Adelaide, he has released eleven top ten albums, three of which achieved number one status in Australia, with eight gaining platinum or multi-platinum certification. Sebastian has achieved twenty three top twenty singles, including six number one hits, making him the only Australian male artist in chart history to achieve this distinction. His debut single 'Angels Brought Me Here' was the highest selling song in Australia during the 2000s decade. With over eighty platinum and seven gold certifications and combined sales exceeding six million in Australia, Sebastian holds the highest certifications and sales among all Australian Idol contestants. He is known for his pop and R&B music and actively tours throughout Australia and internationally.
